ORIENT INSPECTION surveyors conduct marine and non-marine surveys on behalf of Hull and Machinery Underwriters, Ship-owners and Multi-National Shipping Companies, Insurance Companies, P&I Clubs, Shipper, Consignees, etc. In general we carry out marine and non-marine surveys as under:  PRE-INSURANCE / PRE-SHIPMENT SURVEY  SURVEY OF CARGO DAMAGED DURING IN-LAND TRANSIT  PRE-SHIPMENT SURVEY / LASHING OF CARGO  HULL AND MACHINERY DAMAGE SURVEY  ON HIRE / OFF HIRE BUNKER & CONDITION SURVEY  SURVEY OF CARGO (FOOD AND NON FOOD ITEMS) STUFFED INTO CONTAINERS SURVEY OF CARGO (FOOD AND NON FOOD ITEMS) CARRIED AS BULK / BREAKBULK  SOC INSPECTION  WARRANTY SURVEYS FOR DISCHARGE OPERATION OF HEAVY LIFTS / PROJECT CARGO  VEHICLES SURVEY  TOWAGE CERTIFICATE / APPROVALS  SEALING / DE-SEALING OF HATCH COVERS  DISCHARGE MONITORING OF HEAVY LIFTS  DRAFT SURVEY FOR VESSELS DISCHARGING / LOADING BULK CARGOES  CARGO GEAR INSPECTION (ICGB) SHORTAGE AND LOSS INVESTIGATION  RISK ASSESSMENT SURVEYS OF FACTORIES, WAREHOUSES ETC.  PROPERTY SURVEYS  EAR AND CAR SURVEYS  LOSS ADJUSTING AND SETTLEMENT OF CLAIMS  THEFT & INFIDELITY INVESTIGATION / ADJUSTING OF LOSS We are appointed by MALTA TRANSPORT for Flag State Survey of Malta Registered vessels. We are regularly issuing towing certificates for barges at Ras Laffan Port & Anchorage and at Mesaieed Port, Qatar. We also work as warranty surveyors on behalf of international companies for heavy lifts monitoring their loading/discharge operations, lashing/securing on multi-axel trailers and safe offloading at sites.
