Qatar Youth Hostels is an associate member of Hosteling International with more than 3000 Qatari members here in Qatar. And it is considered as a pioneer between 37 youth centers in Qatar Hosteling International is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization with more than three million members worldwide working closely with United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO and the World Tourism Organization UNWTO with a widespread network in 80 countries worldwide with a mission to promote the education of all young people of all nations by encouraging in them a greater knowledge, love and care of the countryside and an appreciation of the cultural values of towns and cities in all parts of the world, and as ancillary thereto to provide hostels at affordable prices with no distinction of race, nationality, color, religion, sex, class, or political opinions. Qatar Youth Hostels got the advanced certificate in quality from the International Federation for Youth Hostels (Hosteling International) in October 2015. Our Vision is to become a role model for Youth Hostels Associations on the global level distinguished by our services, and to promote youth tourism in order to contribute to the economic and social development of the State of Qatar. Providing a safe, cheap, and clean environment for youth and encouraging the diversity of cultures and respecting cultural diversity. We Aim to develop knowledge among the youth and encouraging them to travel in order to increase their knowledge and information about their countries and other countries. Encouraging internal and external tourism through reducing travel and residence costs and organizing collective trips for youths. Welcoming the youth from different parts of the world and facilitate their visits to historical locations. Participate in Arab and International conferences and meetings and organizing recreational, cultural and social programs for the youth. To mobilize the youth, we have come up with set of activities and facilitate them by providing an environment of healthy events. For the tourism purposes, special packages and promotions have been designed subjected to youth only. Some of our signature activities are mentioned below.
